The World Hope Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children. The World Hope Foundation's initiatives have been carefully researched and developed to break the poverty cycle of villagers who are struggling to raise their younger generation. 

The current focus is on rural western China, a wild undeveloped land far removed from the economically developing eastern seaboard. Here the neediest people are the Tibetans. It is hard to imagine a harsher living environment than theirs. Without electricity, running water, telephone service, medical facilities, or paved roads, they endure a bitter cold climate at the highest altitude in the world. 
Most ethnic Tibetan children lack proper housing, nutrition and health care. Many have never set foot in a school. Orphans fare the worst: the younger ones are rotated from one home to another, while those six and over work as cattle hands living at a subsistence level.   

The World Hope Foundation is targeting a series of remote villages where the most basic needs of the villagers must be addressed:

1. Provisions and warm clothing
2. Basic medical treatment
3. Sanitation systems
4. Measures to protect the fragile ecosphere

Taking these simple steps WILL have a huge impact.   

The next initiative is building orphanages so the children can have—for the first time in their lives—a clean, safe and stable living situation.

When the above work has been completed, we would like to help the village youth gain access to schools. These children ask for little and are eager to learn. They deserve the chance to develop their minds.

All projects are discussed and designed in conjunction with the village elders and spiritual leaders. New technologies are used where appropriate while honouring the sacred traditions of the village.
